The Best Holiday Body Washes of 2025: Festive Scents You’ll Love

Eh EMMMM ~ Mariah Carey voice! “IT’S TIMEEEEEEEE!”

Yes, folks, it’s that time of year! The weather’s changing, the trees are coming out for decorating, and let’s ot forget the Christmas lights! (Yeahhhh, I skipped over Thanksgiving it’s not a holiday we celebrate in The Bahamas… but we do eat the food! Anyway, back to our regularly scheduled programming.) This post is all about the best holiday body wash of 2025!

There’s just something so magical about the holidays. I blame it on Hallmark movies and all those Santa Christmas films that make life seem like a fairytale. And in the spirit of keeping my holidays magical, I love to set the tone with scents. From pumpkin cinnamon to sugar plum, the smells of the season just pull everything together and make it feel special.

So here’s my holiday body wash lineup!  The best holiday body washes of 2025 that you didn’t know you needed! Guaranteed to keep your skin hydrated all season long (and don’t forget to pair with a good moisturizing lotion). Without further ado, let’s get into these holiday scents!

1. Dove Holiday Body Wash

Dove Christmas Scents

If you’ve been rocking with me for a while, you know that I’m a Dove girly. Dove is a must in my shower because it always does what I need it to. Even with sensitive skin, I’ve never had a problem using their products.

This Dove Holiday Collection that I’ve acquired mixes rich, cozy scents with moisture all while being dry-skin friendly!

These are the scents that stood out for me — I could wear any of them without hesitation. And I did. Check out my review on the Cinnamon pumpkin pie!

 2. Olay Holiday Gift Set (Sugar Plum & Champagne Blush)

Now, I didn’t get the full Olay Holiday Gift Set, but I did grab two of the scents, Sugar Plum and Champagne Blush, and I fell in love.

Right now, I’m using Sugar Plum, and it’s giving! It reminds me of a classy yet subtle perfume scent. Light but still noticeable, not too strong, just right. As for Champagne Blush, I’ve been told it’s a little too sweet, but when I smelled it, I bought it. It’s more of a bubbly, candy-champagne type of sweet, not cotton candy, but more like a champagne soda.

Even without the full gift set, these two scents alone will definitely add some oomph to your holiday shower routine. Definitely worth trying.

3. Bath & Body Works Holiday Foaming Hand Soap

As a little bonus, you know no scent list is complete without mentioning Bath & Body Works. Now, I don’t usually buy their shower gels because they tend to break me out. But when I do end up with one, I use it purely as hand soap with no issues.

This year, I grabbed the Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin foaming hand soap, and it smells amazing! Warm, spicy, and straight-up fall-in-a-bottle vibes that roll perfectly into Christmas….Unfortunately, I was unable to find a link for you guys sorry 🙁

 4. Best Holiday Scents for Your Shower Routine

Not sure where to start? Here are some holiday body wash scent notes that never go out of style:

  • Pumpkin Cinnamon – the scent that starts it all and brings in fall
  • Peppermint – great if you love that minty freshness (me? mint’s for toothpaste 😅)
  • Something Sweet – nostalgic and cozy (think Sugar Plum or Champagne Blush)
  • Clean but Comforting – perfect for unisex options like Cedarwood + Crushed Mint
  • Spiced Fruit – reminds me of those TikToks where folks boil fruit and spices to scent the house, hello, Cranberry + Orange Peel!

Whatever you choose, go with what feels right for you.

Scent Boost: For an extra scent boost, try layering your body wash with a matching lotion or oil. Personally, I like to add a scented oil on top of my lotion because my skin can’t handle too much. I’m even thinking of testing Dove’s matching lotion… will it be enough moisture though? Hmmm, I may just find out!

Either way, layered or not, remember to stay moisturized. The season might be magical, but the weather can be harsh on your skin.

Final Thoughts

There’s something especially magical about finding a holiday body wash that works for you. If you’re anything like me, you’ll get lucky and find a few favorites that make every shower feel like the holidays. Whether you love mint, sweet, or spiced scents, do what makes your holiday season feel most magical.

I’m normally a Dove girl too so I will have to check those out. As far as holiday scents I love the lightly sweet scents like sugar cookies.

I was not a fan of the sugar cookie (i was really looking forward to it because it came with a scrub) but seeing as you like lights scents the Olay Sugar Plum may be right up your alley.

I love Dove body wash! It’s been a staple in my shower for years, but I’ve never tried their seasonal scents before — now I’m really curious. That Cinnamon Pumpkin Pie one sounds cozy, and the Cranberry + Orange Peel sounds fresh and fun! Definitely adding these to my list to try this season.

Dove and Olay are my favorite brands in terms of body wash! The Champagne Blush sounds right up my alley, and the Cinnamon Pumpkin Pie seems like it would pair well with one of the body sprays my workplace gifted me last year.

I’m going to have to check some of these out!

Me too! although I do tend to lean more on Dove than Olay. I hope that scent layers well with the pumpkin spice. 🙂
