Tips for Visiting Beaches in Nassau Bahamas

  • Timing: Most eschews will be crowded on the weekends and public holidays recognized by The Bahamas
  • Amenities: Most beaches have food, drinks, and sometimes bathrooms available for use. However, to be on the safe side I would always pack snacks. They won’t stop you from entering a beach because you have your own food.
  • Safety!: Be vigilant wherever you go! Try to travel in groups and always be aware of your belongings. As mentioned earlier. If you are going to do water activities please get in touch with your hotel concierge or do your research!
  • Transportation: Most beaches are accessible by taxi or maybe you can rent a car (please remember in the Bahamas we drive on the left side of the road).
  • Beach Access: Many beaches in Nassau are public, but, some may be relatively close to or have easier access via private property. It’s simply a matter of getting there. (All beaches listed are mostly public for cable beach beaches Goodman’s Bay would be the most easily accessible).
